Victoria + Richard | Albright Hussey Manor
Albright Hussey Manor Wedding Photographer Shrewsbury
“We are extremely happy with our photos as are our family and friends, thank you so much for your hard work on the day, making us feel relaxed and taking our gorgeous pictures.”
Victoria & Rich
I knew this would be a lovely wedding to photograph from the minute I met Victoria and Richard. They were a charming couple who had put good wedding photography right at the top of their list. As the day approached and all of their plans were coming into place disaster struck, they received the shocking news that their chosen venue had ceased trading and the search was on to find an alternative. It’s a very old saying that every cloud has a silver lining because within a few weeks of hearing the news and renewing their search they found an absolute gem of a venue – Albright Hussey Manor in Shrewsbury. I had never worked at this venue so was a little apprehensive when I made my first visit to “check it out”, I need not have worried it was absolutely delightful and so were the staff. Normal service resumed.
A few months before the wedding Victoria and Richard joined me on the canal towpaths around Brewood for their pre wedding photo shoot and within minutes they were comfortable and relaxed with me and the camera. This experience helped them on their wedding day which from my point of view as their photographer was an absolute dream.
The danger with Albright Hussey Manor is that there are so many little hidden areas to explore it could become a long drawn out photoshoot for the couple, but having visited it earlier and planned where I would be working the photography part of the day was a thoroughly enjoyable occasion for the couple, their guests and myself.
This is a wedding that will remain with me for a long time to come.
