Today’s wedding of Lou and Luke at The Barns was a real family affair with the couple’s sons, Liam and Ryan acting as pageboys/young ushers and their daughter Ellie as one of the bridesmaids.
In this, my final season as a wedding photographer this was to be my last ever wedding at The Barns, and a sunny one it was too.
Over the years it has been so exciting to share many “firsts” and new venues with you all. In this my retirement year it will sadly be more “lasts”. After over 25 years of photographing weddings at the wonderful venue that is The Moat House Acton Trussell, todays wedding of Georgia & Sean was to be my last one there……a lovely wedding as were they all……..I shall miss The Moat House.

Droitwich. Following and helping with their plans since then has been more like an adventure culminating with a very memorable day and a fabulous evening finale for
all of those fortunate to be involved.
Leanne had planned her day to perfection over the last couple of years. Her master stroke was to book the ceremony for 3pm at Calderfields because right up until then the weather had been atrocious with strong winds, heavy rain and thunder…….what a master stroke.
