Stunning Spring Wedding at The Moat House Acton Trussell
The Moat House Acton Trussell has for many years been one of our favourite venues. Today for the wedding of Georgia & Sean it was to be my last visit as a professional photographer and it looked just as fresh and friendly as it always has. I shall miss this place as I move into retirement.
The day itself was a really kind day, heavy rain forecast for later but for the wedding, thankfully dry.

My day started with Georgia as she enjoyed her final preparations with Rachel Bourne taking care of her make up with hair by Gemma Birch. I left them for a short time to capture Sean & the guys who arrived in a surprise Limo, have to say they all looked rather smart in their suits from Dapper Dan.

Next, it was back to Georgia, just in time to see her stepping into her fantastic gown from Wedding Belles of Four Oaks. The day was now speeding along and soon all of the guests were seated in the Acton suite, styled today to perfection by Bespoke Creations, who incidentally also provided the bouquets and bridal party flowers.
Creative Wedding Photography at The Moat House
Sean stood at the front eagerly awaiting his bride and when she arrived, yes you guessed it…..the tears flowed.
The ceremony was made all that much more enjoyable by the regular interruptions from Dolly, the couples adorable daughter.
Lakeside portraits at The Moat House
As Georgia & Sean left the room they were joined by close family and friends Lakeside for those all important group shots.
Taking advantage of the kind weather the couple then joined me for their personal portraits around the gorgeous grounds of this stunning venue.
Candid Photographs of the Wedding Speeches at The Moat House
Back to the Acton suite for photos with the cake from Cakes by Pip, Table Centres by the bride’s friend Stacey and stationery from Elegant Creations by Mandy.
Coverage of the entertaining speeches completed the daytime sessions, with an evening return to capture the first dance of the new Mr & Mrs Haynes bringing their day with me to a close.
Without question a wedding that was a pleasure to cover and a fitting end to my career at The Moat House.
