Shereen and Matt
Recent weddings have seen me photograph guests from all parts of the world; Australia, New Zealand, America, Canada, Malaysia, Europe. Today I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Shereen’s family who had travelled from Abu Dhabi for the wedding at The Upper House at Barlaston. Long gone are the days of being “The Village” photographer.
Most of the correspondence for today’s wedding of Shereen and Matt at the wonderful Upper House at Barlaston had to be by email, Shereen planned the majority of her wedding to Matt from Abu Dhabi, where they both live and work. So it was an immense pleasure to spend time with them and their families today.
Our day started with the preparations of Shereen and her bridesmaids, one of whom had travelled from America to be part of her best friend’s wedding. Once she put on her gown which she brought with her from the Bridal Showroom in Dubai, the Wow factor was complete. Matt in a suit from Greenwoods of Hanley awaited his bride for the outdoor ceremony hoping that the rain clouds that threatened would be kind to them. All eyes were on Shereen as she walked to join Matt escorted by her very proud father.
Our coverage ended with relaxed portraits of the couple in the beautiful grounds of this special venue.
