The Moat House | Vickie + Adam

Vickie with her design and organisational skills had planned her big day with military precision,leaving absolutely nothing to chance,unfortunately the weatherman was not paying attention and had some ideas of his own…rain,rain and more rain. However the famous Moat House luck held out and we were able to capture all of the outdoor shots in this very picturesque location in between the showers…phew.!!

Early start today at the brides parents house for “bridal prep “ shots, the biggest topic of conversation was the horrendous weather and would it spoil Vickie’s big day at The Moat House ?

By the time I arrived at the venue there was a break in the clouds, Ben from the Moat House quickly attached the mens button holes,which had been produced by CZ Handsaker Floral Designs, and we were then able to capture all of the shots of Adam and the guys,who wore suits from Slaters Menswear outdoors.

Thankfully the rain held off for the arrival of the bridesmaids who were then followed by our bride Vickie and her Father.

The Acton Suite was looking lovely for today’s ceremony fully styled by Design Elegance who also provided the photobooth as part of the evenings entertainment.

After the ceremony the new Mr and Mrs McHugh joined us for family group shots and their personal portraits,all be it in no less than four sessions in between the showers, all of their photos were completed outdoors in the glorious setting that is The Moat House..something which had looked highly unlikely earlier in the day.

Our first session with Vickie and Adam ended with coverage of the speeches, the highlight of which was a visual “powerpoint” presentation and “movie” show from the Groom.

An evening return saw us capturing not only the first dance but also images of the entertainment provided for the guests amusement…
