Moat House Winter Wedding | Amy + Dan
First wedding of the new season for us and what better place to start than where we left off last year – The Moat House Acton Trussell – never disappointing.

January up to today has been mild but with it very damp and dreary, so we were really fortunate that mother nature decided to give us a helping hand with a lovely bright and crisp day for the wedding of Amy and Dan at The Moat House.
Today was a two photographer coverage with Stuart James bringing his documentary style to the event. Stu started with Amy and the girls as they prepared for her big day, while I took care of the guys, all looking extremely smart in their suits from Duncan James.
Soon everyone took their seats in the Acton Suite, styled today by Design Elegance with flowers from Lavender florist and eagerly awaited the arrival of Amy and her party. All eyes were on her as she entered the room, an absolute picture in her gown from Special Occasions of Coventry.
After the ceremony guests and family joined us in the beautiful Moat House grounds for photos. They were soon back inside in the warmth to enjoy each other’s company while the couple remained with us to make the most of the venues varied settings, before returning to their guests for the all important speeches and of course their wonderful meal.
Stuart and myself returned in the evening to complete Amy and Dan’s coverage with night time portraits by the famous Oak Tree, fun time with the Casino fromRoyale Casino and first dance to the sound of their band The Deadbeats from Blackpool. It was then time to take our leave at the end of a very enjoyable day’s work.
