Stacey + Chris | St Augustines, Rugeley + Chase Golf Club
Our day with Stacey & Chris started with Stacey’s exciting final preparations at her parents home a short drive away from their church – St Augustines Rugeley, a church with the added bonus of the picturesque chapel ruins just across the road – which we visited after the ceremony. Stacey’s gown from White Rose drew gasps of delight from her bridesmaids as she joined them for photos before she left to join Chris at church. Chris & the menfolk were the first to arrive looking very smart in their suits from Kevin Paul. The bridesmaids were next to arrive in a stretch limo from Finishing Touch closely followed by Stacey in an open top Beauford. St Augustines is a lovely light and airy church with a balcony allowing us a superb overview of the service.
Bailey the family Staffie joined us for group photos. As the guests made their way to Chase Golf Club Stacey & Chris enjoyed private photos in the ruins and on the beautiful Cannock Chase on their journey. We then joined everyone at the venue for a group shot of all family & guests from the balcony overlooking the Lake and course, before everyone joined the bride & groom in the glass roofed Atrium for pre dinner speeches. Music from the incomparable Finesse accompanied the meal. I was joined in the evening by Stuart James Photography for a set of twilight photos around the Lake before the cutting of the cake – a tremendous creation from Carole Gregory, the opening of the popular candy cart and finally the couple’s first dance – the end of a thoroughly enjoyable full days coverage.
