The day started for me in the company of Charlene Evason – Make up Artist as she worked her magic on Louise then soon it was into her gown from Kissxx Bridal ready to meet her groom, James suited by Slaters of Birmingham who awaited her arrival in the legendary Oat Barn at Packington Moor. Rain clouds loomed large as the ceremony came to a close with gales brought in by Hurricane Bertha as an accompaniment. thankfully we found some shelter in the glorious cottage garden and around the courtyard for the family photos and the couple’s personal portraits. The barn was soon ready for everyone to enjoy a hearty meal at tables adorned with jugs of flowers from Flowers by Kate of Lichfield. I stayed with the couple for their speeches then on to cutting the cake from Sugar Surgeons and straight into first dance hosted by the fabulous D.J. Dave Dee.
