Moat House Wedding Photography | Lyn + Carl

Rain was forecast for today so we were particularly pleased to be at a venue that can cope – Moat House Acton Trussell. It held off for all of the arrival photography of Carl & the guys, well presented in their suits from Dapper Dan and stayed dry for Lyn’s entrance with transport provided by Platinum Wedding Cars. Lyn wearing a dress from Go Bridal and carrying an exuberant bouquet from Pat Cooper joined Carl and the guests who had been waiting for her in the wonderful Colin Lewis Suite. The room looked fabulous today dressed by Design Eleganceto the couples taste. Monsoon conditions greeted the couple for their first walk as man & wife, it did not stop us from capturing a few images with their car courtesy of Brollies held by Paul of Platinum and Ben from The Moat House. The sumptuous Library allowed us plenty of space for the indoor group shots, a fifteen minute dry spell just before the meal gave us time for a set of beautiful bridal portraits around the lakeside settings of this remarkable venue. It was then back to the CLS which had been transformed into an intimate setting for the wedding breakfast. An evening return for first dance also allowed us to provide a group photo of all of the guests which the poor weather earlier in the day had prevented.
