Katy + Paul | The Moat House, Acton Trussell
The Moat House is always a wonderful setting for a wedding but some seem to have that little something that makes it extra special, that was how it was today for Katy & Paul with a glorious mix of autumnal tones, starlight backdrops, candelabras and a table theme set around the silver screen of Hollywood greats. The Acton Suite was an absolute delight to see due to the combined efforts of Design Elegance, Lavender Florist and RPS Designs. Katy looked a dream in her gown from the Ivory Wardrobe of Milton Keynes. The grounds were at the crossover from autumn to winter, with plenty of photo opportunities. Stephen was with me to add his candid approach to the photo coverage with Stuart James returning with me in the evening for his night time outdoor portraits and “sparklers”. We then returned to the warmth of the Acton Suite to see the glorious cake from Nicola Trigg being cut by Katy & Paul before being treated to a fantastic first dance routine on the superb white light dance floor provided by Design Elegance.
ABOUT THE DAY
Late Autumn is a lovely time for a wedding, the light is usually wonderful as it was for Katy and Paul today. It’s always a pleasure to record a wedding where so much effort has been put into the final presentation, as it was today – delightful.
WHAT THEY HAD
Katy & Paul chose the Bronze Storybook Collection from our Moat House Exclusives brochure, then added final bridal preparations, evening return for outdoor night time portraits and first dance photos, along with Stuart James as well as a pre wedding “engagement” session at Teddesley Locks.
