Emma + James | St Thomas Walton-on-the-Hill + Hawkesyard Hall Estate

The first day of Spring brought sunshine for Emma & James wedding at St Thomas Walton on the Hill, the same church where we photographed James sister Beth’s marriage to Matt a couple of years ago. Stephen was alongside me today so we were able to capture the ceremony both from the front of the church and from the balcony. Emma arrived in the beautiful Austin from Platinum Wedding Cars and carried a lovely bouquet of ivory roses from Fine Flowers. After family groups at church it was off to the wonderful Hawkesyard Estate where the grounds showed no sign of this years wet winter. The guests were entertained by Finesse Piano & Cello whilst the bride and groom joined us in the grounds for their personal photos. The wedding breakfast was served in the light and airy function room which had been dressed by Posh Frocks 4 Chairs with simple but enchanting table decorations from Fine Flowers.

Stuart James joined me for the first dance preceded by a contribution of his signature outdoor evening portraits – simply gorgeous. Emma, who had her hair and make up attended to by Jackie Shore of Creative Hair & Beauty looked just as bright and sparkly at the end of the day as she did at the beginning – James is indeed a lucky young man.
