Hawkesyard Hall | Stacey + Aaron
After 7 weddings in 14 days of August that saw us visit Gloucestershire, Devon, Shropshire, Warwickshire and Cumbria it was back to one of our favourite Staffordshire venues, Hawkesyard Estate for the wedding of the lovely Stacey and Aaron.
Stacey + Aaron’s summer wedding story by Hawkesyard Hall Wedding Photographer Barry James
Normally you can find Stacey working alongside Mandy of Make My Day Special ensuring that the room sets for the bride’s weddings at Hawkesyard Estate look absolutely perfect – but today was Stacey’s special day for her marriage to Aaron at this beautiful venue that means so much to her.
My day started early joining Stacey and the girls as they made their final preparations for Stacey’s big day. Stacey’s hair and make up was simply perfection and once she put on her gown from Berketex, Birmingham the vision of a model bride was complete, she looked absolutely radiant.
Soon it was time to leave and move to the front of the Hall to find Aaron and the guys. Aaron was keen to pose next to the 60’s Buick – a surprise addition to his day courtesy of his Dad.
The Lister ceremony room is perfect for photographing the marriage with loads of natural light illuminating the couple as they exchange vows. Afterwards Stacey and Aaron joined their family and friends for those all important shots that will form part of their family history.
It was then time to take advantage of the fabulous gardens at Hawkesyard Estate to provide the couple with personal portraits to treasure, before moving on to the wonderfully decorated reception room for the sumptuous wedding breakfast. I can honestly say that the room décor created by Stacey & Mandy of Make My Day Special was the best I have seen it look.
