A Winter Wedding at the Moat House | Joanne + Will

Where better for a romantic Valentine’s Day wedding than at the fabulous Moat House Acton Trussell. A fine day greeted us with the first signs of spring in evidence, snowdrops and crocuses in abundance. Added bonus for the groom today…..he should never forget his anniversary date!

First wedding of the season for Stephen and myself was at the fabulous Moat House Acton Trussell – Valentine’s day too. The venue looked superb with snowdrops and crocuses heralding the upcoming spring. The Acton Suite echoed the Valentines theme colours dressed superbly as ever by Design Elegance who also provided the table plan and table names, which echoed the couples love of music.

Our coverage began with final preparation shots of our bride Joanne and her party just after Jackie Shore had completed their hair and make up. Joanne became the perfect bride in her gown from Belda Bridal, with the bridesmaids wearing dresses from Jeneve. Wedding House of Walsall provided the dress for the lovely flower girl. Next on the scene was our groom Will looking resplendent in his suit from Blooms. Soon Will and the guests were seated in the Acton Suite awaiting the arrival of the bride. The bridesmaids preceded Jo who entered the room carrying a heart shaped bouquet from Lavender Florist, then made her way along the red carpet to join Will for the ceremony.

Group shots and personal photos of the bride and groom followed the ceremony in the beautiful grounds of the Moat House, before the couple and their guests returned to the Acton Suite for the wedding breakfast.

An evening return for the official cake cutting, a fantastic creation from Amerton Cakes, and first dance completed our coverage for this lovely couple.
