A Beautiful and Intimate Summer Wedding Story at St Michaels Pelsall + Moor Hall with Wedding Photographer Barry James
I was introduced to today’s couple Hannah & Nathan by a very good mutual friend, Father Carl Ramsay of St Michaels Pelsall, who was indeed to perform the ceremony and what a joyous & lively occasion it turned out to be.
My day started with final bride preparations for Hannah at her parent’s house with her hair stylist Maxine Atkins of Regis, Birmingham and her MUA Debbie Adams of Gemini, Pelsall. Her dress from 2have and 2hold Forever of Kidderminster, hanging in the window looked a picture, only improved once Hannah stepped into it. It was then on to the church to photograph Nathan and the guys, quickly followed by the bridesmaids who arrived in a classic VW campervan “Polly” supplied by Beetlebugs.
Shortly afterwards the same vehicle brought Hannah and her father to the church. She walked down the aisle carrying a beautiful bouquet from Entwined at Walsall Wood to join Nathan for the ceremony that would see them emerge as husband & wife. As they signed the register the guests were entertained by Aine Aldridge on Sax and Edward Lee on Piano.
After a few group shots on the church door, the couple walked through a “tunnel” of bubbles to “Polly” to be whisked off to Moor Hall for their celebrations. The mirrored room at Moor Hall looked a picture with chair covers provided by Entwined topped off with a fabulous cake made and decorated by the bride’s mom Sue.
Hannah & Nathan joined me in the secret gardens at the venue for their personal photos followed by family groups with the impressive building forming the backdrop. Coverage of the speeches ended the daytime proceedings for me with an evening return to capture the cake cutting and the all important first dance.
The end of a truly joyous day.
